Please join McDonald Vague for our upcoming seminar Focus on Business Recovery to be held in conjunction with the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.   • Construction and property development collapses.

    Why building firms fail? What is the size of the market? How can you better protect your clients? Case studies of two construction receiverships.

  • Insolvent Transactions (previously known as Voidable Preferences).
    Presenter - Boris van Delden. Partner, McDonald Vague
    Why are your clients receiving more Insolvent Transaction demands from liquidators? What can your clients do when a demand is received, what are your clients' rights? What does the liquidator have to prove, and what defences are available?

  • Insolvent trusts & reducing risks for professional trustees.

    A review of recent court decisions and trustee liability under various structures, including a discussion of Trust winding up procedures and issues
